- Achieving the widest possible representation of stakeholders that will influence the future of mBusiness applications and services.
- Bringing industry and academia leaders in mBusiness from as many different countries as possible together in a collaborative environment to provide their individual expertise and excellence in a multidisciplinary and multinational setting.
- Providing feedback to industry, academia, and public policy bodies in order to structure the process of future mBusiness developments.
Results of the MB-net project are:
- The ‘mBusiness Application and Services Roadmap’ White Paper, which includes the identification of research challenges and actors, roadmaps on a five-year horizon, and associated implementation models.
- Extension of The Mobiforum collaborative platform, which is a renowned mBusiness portal that brings together experts from industry and academia, effectively presenting and disseminating the outcomes of the network.
