When a marketable technology with the potential for a start-up has been identified, the INI-GraphicsNet Stiftung supports scientists in the development of their business plan.

The future managers are trained intensively in a variety of seminars or individually, in order to help them develop a deeper understanding of the incorporation process and enable them to make and assess business plans and concepts. As all enterprises entail economic risks which cannot be foreseen, we have developed tools to reduce such risks to the minimum. The pre-selection of projects suitable for incorporation is a key prerequisite for the construction of a business plan. After the presentation of the latter, the respective scientists, founding team and the department of the INI-GraphicsNet Stiftung decide whether to start the business or not. This process not only leads all its participants to focus on the essential elements of business incorporations, but also helps the founders to minimize both preliminary costs of the incorporation and the time needed to develop the product ready for the market - which is the critical competitive advantage.
