
Management and Networking
The INI-GraphicsNet Stiftung currently has collaborative networking efforts across Europe, in the United States, Asia, and South America and is starting in South Africa. International collaborative relationships with technology and academic centers are actively developed and fostered at any time. Management and Networking efforts are mainly focused on the following topics:
The INI-GraphicsNet consists of more than 350 scientists and researchers and about 450 research assistants spread over various locations worldwide. The additional partnership network of the INI-GraphicsNet Stiftung has also developed into a broad spectrum of various partners and institutions from science and industry, as well as consultants and public institutions. These include universities, technical colleges, various consulting firms, banks and investment companies, tax and corporate consultants, law firms and a “business angels” network. Networking activities of the INI-GraphicsNet Stiftung include all kinds of initiating measures, fostering professional cooperations, promoting communication, coordination of all network activity, and much more.
The purpose of the Foundation is the advancement of scientific R&D in the field of Computer Graphics. Project sponsorship, coordination, and management in this context are therefore important parts of the services provided for network members and other customers. The Foundation sponsors projects to gather information within particular fields of new technology and for the development of potential applications. Through strategic joint and self-generated research, the goal of the INI-GraphicsNet Stiftung is to be positioned at the forefront of cutting-edge technology. The intended result is the generation of new technologies and research within the field of Computer Graphics.
